Traveling and Living in Japan

THE GRAND TOUR OF JAPAN: the entire first week of the study abroad Japan program is a week-long travel all over Japan: Tokyo-Nagoya-Kyoto-Hiroshima.  Students all stay in hotels and ride lots of trains.  The Japan Rail Pass provides unlimited train rides for 7-days, including the “Bullet” super-express trains.

The Japan Sea Beaches and the Shinano River: it is NOT the Pacific Ocean!  Experience the “flip-side” of the Pacific Ocean: the Japan Sea and its beautiful beaches near Niigata.  The Shinano river, in Niigata, is Japan’s largest river.  Also, there will be a chance to visit Sado Island for weekend homestay!

Miyajima (the Waterfront Shrine: the World Heritage): regarded as one of the most beautiful places in Japan, the Miyajima provides amazing opportunities to explore Japanese culture and history!

Experience Japanese Life Style: ranging from hot spring tour to a quiet place to examine your spirit . . .  You will find something that you absolutely fall in love with!

Friendship with Local People: one of the unique features of study abroad Japan program is its emphasis on developing friendship with local people.  You may find someone, who may become your life-long friend.
