HU 199: Conversational Mandarin

This course focuses listening and speaking Mandarin, with an emphasis on practical topics such as exchanging money, shopping, dinging, asking directions, and hotel. Listening and speaking with native speakers outside class is uppermost. Those who have not started learning Mandarin will be given extra material to learn before departure.
